After his mother dies, an American sound engineer on sabbatical goes to Sicily in search of distant relatives.
I spent the recent summer in Sicily shooting The Lasting Season, the new feature from director Mike Allen. The range of landscape, city, and people in Sicily is incredible. It was a dream to shoot there and I can’t wait to go back. I think this will be my own best work to date.
Explores aging through a New York City program that invites legendary performers to create dances for neighborhood senior citizens.
First-time director Josefina Rotman Lyons tasked me with giving narrative shape to events and discussions that we were exploring with people that had a lifetime of stories to give. It was a challenging and rewarding experience and I think we have a positive message to give with this movie. We’ll begin festival and distribution rounds this fall.
TV Series opening credits
I worked with my friends at Short Notice Creative on these opening title sequences for the second series of Sweetbitter. We wanted it to look like a restaurant kitchen but also give moments where the food begins to look other-worldly.

A Hobbiton tour guide in New Zealand wants to quit his job and start his own tour company.
This project has been a labor of love and we’re nearing the end of a difficult, exploratory edit and looking forward to releasing it this winter. The journey with Muddle Earth began in 2014 in New Zealand with only a sketch of an idea and a lot of enthusiasm. We continue to push it further and further into unknown funny and strange territory.
After his band breaks up, a musician seeks a new start as a solo act in Denmark and tries not to mess it up.
I shot Solo Project with some close friends in Copenhagen, DE in 2015. We shot the film in 13 days, completely handheld, with only 3 lights and a (great) skeleton crew. It was exciting to make a movie that way - definitely a sprint! I enjoyed the challenge and I think we made a funny little debaucherous movie.

New York City sidemen put one big show together for their own projects.
I think back fondly on the making of this movie. It was my first big project in New York and I made many lasting friendships through it. The venue in Brooklyn that we shot the concerts in, Southpaw, was special and it’s a shame that it’s gone now.
Director David Savage brought this project to me and we explored his vision for something quirky, meta, and fun. You’ll get fooled!
